The Wimbledon dial earned its nickname honestly. That slate gray face with green Roman numerals is one of the few dials Rolex has made that collectors ask for by name, and against yellow Rolesor the green picks up warmth it never gets on plain steel. The 41mm case and fluted gold bezel give it presence without excess. Caliber 3136 with a 48-hour reserve, sapphire crystal, 100 meters. Preowned with original box and papers from March 2018. Among discontinued Rolex watches still easy to wear daily, the Wimbledon is one worth moving on.
